![]() As long as the YouTubers make videos, and Supercell gives us quality upgrades (without too much “Hey! Buy this Skin”), I would expect us to be celebrating the 20th anniversary. Supercell has been focusing on E-Gaming, which is a big part of Clash. But you also want to give your long time players new toys to play with. Keeping the Clans fresh for new faces to join is going to be tough. The best part about phones and tablets are they can do a lot more than simple gaming. That way, communication is helping us all win. We have someone that starts Clan League Wars, and we have someone that monitors the Clan Capital. The most interesting part of Clan Capital is that you work on it as a team. So it was more about the clan mates to keep me sane. A lot of my friends moved on, and I happened to find a new Clan that didn’t kick out people because they didn’t participate in every war. I was still wondering if the game had run it’s course. Of course, COC was a very big part in my Pandemic schedule. If it wasn’t for the Clan Games and Monthly Challenges, I would’ve completely abandoned that part. The team hinted at that part of the game changing, but in all reality, I never saw it. But then in 2019, the last real upgrade happened (Lava Launcher, Hog Glider, and O.T.T.O.). The Builder Base was a smaller game, so completing it didn’t take too long. Still, being able to start over without starting over was a great way to get the rush of the new base again. The Builder Base came in 2017, which both gave a renewed feeling to the game, but also question how much you can pack into the program. Still, I had a good Clan of friends playing, so I decided to see where it would go. I felt the updates were lacking and excitement was dwindling. Clash Royale debuted, and their other games – Hey Day and Boom Beach – was competing for attention. ![]() Would It Fade Out?Īround 2015-2016, I did get a little nervous as to it’s success. Use Rendezvous Chat for private messages. Send guests a link to join your live broadcast. There were YouTubers creating how-to channels, forums discussing strategies, and I definitely was hooked. Rendezvous peer-to-peer conferencing comes built-in to Wirecast. Since then, the game grew to overwhelming success. Therefore, I was hoping Clash of Clans would flip that bill. The BeginningĪt that time, I was looking for a new game to play – WeRule was my goto guilty pleasure game, but rumors of it’s demise started to surface (and it did a month later). By the 4th day, they updated with stronger walls and the Giant Bomb, along with making tweaks to the attacks. It didn’t have much – just the ability to build and attack. I was on a 3rd generation iPad at the time of the video. It just had it’s worldwide release, and it was a perfect fit for games Tuesday. One app I remember talking about was the game Clash of Clans by Supercell. In 2012, I was publishing the video podcast “IPad365” – reviewing an app a day.
